To give you the best possible service and results, we are committed to continual education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.
Julie
Julie is originally from California, and relocated to Birmingham Alabama in 2009. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2009. She has been with Woodlawn Dental for over 3 years working as a Dental Assistant and is going through the Dental Hygiene Program at UAB to become a Dental Hygienist. (2015). She is fluent in Spanish. On her time off she enjoys spending it with her daughter and family, she also enjoys traveling, and loves to watch football, she is an Auburn fan (WAR EAGLE).
Michelle
Michelle has been a resident of Birmingham, Al., since 1998. She has been with Woodlawn Dental since 2006. As a child, Michelle traveled the world as an Air Force brat, graduating from high school in Germany. After taking a break to have four children, Michelle graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2011 with a bachelor's in social work. Michelle is a single mom who enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and listening to music. Michelle fills the position of dental receptionist, answering the phone, scheduling appointments and greeting patients as they sign in. Michelle enjoys helping the people who come in to our office, the friendly co-workers and the caring doctors.
Alan
Alan was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and relocated to Alabama in 2001. He graduated from Oneonta High School in 2008 (the home of the Redskins). Alan attended the University of Montevallo, graduating in 2012 with a degree in graphic design. Alan has one brother and one sister, and is the parent of a dog named Oscar. Alan loves sports and the outdoors, and when he is off work, you can find him playing football, soccer, water skiing or camping. Alan also enjoys traveling, drawing, painting photography, and spending time with his friends, as well as supporting Auburn football. War Eagle! Alan has been withWoodlawn Dental since 2009 as a dental assistant. He says that he enjoys getting to help patients, the great co-workers and meeting different people every day.
